Da Xue Shan

This high grown Chinese black tea from Yunnan’s Lincang region is an excellent everyday drinking black tea. Grown in the village of Mengku in the shadows of Big Snow Mountain (Da Xue Shan), this wirey black tea has an equal amount of golden buds and dark black leaves. The balanced one bud to one leaf picking gives this tea strength and subtlety. Earthy and bold, this tea brews dark, yet clean with bitter chocolate flavors, malty sweetness, and a dry finish. Great for an early morning breakfast.
