Possibly the most famous and prized oolong tea in history, Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) is quite literally the stuff of legend.  Grown in the protected Wuyi Shan area of Fujian in south east China, the genetics for this strip style oolong variety can reportedly be traced back to the original six bushes still on display growing on the steep slopes of the Wuyi Shan tourist park.  Our classic Da Hong Pao is rich and smooth with subtle, ripe stone fruit flavors and robust yet balanced roastiness.  Subtle hints of apricot, rose, and roasted peach dance around a solid, earthy backbone and characteristicly mineral aftertaste.  A great tea for sipping while reimagining your favorite fairy tale.
