Shizuoka Aracha Shincha
This is an unsorted (aracha), first harvest (shincha) green tea from Shizuoka Japan. This is a finished, single origin green tea before it has been sorted and blended. Therefore, it contains some lighter colored stem and stalk material mixed in with the deep green leaves. The tea brews a pale green with smooth flavor and little astringency. Mellow flavors of grass and asparagus mingle with subtle aromas of cut hay and distant spring flowers. A great tea to sip while readying the garden for a new season.
