Nepal Treks

Nepal Treks

Trekking is a popular and extremely rewarding experience for many tourists in Nepal.  Many villages in Nepal are only accessible by foot, so trekking opens up much of the country that would not be seen otherwise.  Trekking paths are well traveled and well maintained which makes for easy navigation.  Regularly spaced villages and guesthouses give you plenty of opportunities to rest and recover along the way.  The following treks can be challenging, however, so they are not suggested for those who are not at least reasonably fit.  If you are able to walk uphill for a few hours a day for several days in a row, you will be fine.  If this sounds difficult, you should consider carefully before embarking on a trek.
