“Crane in the Clouds” ceremonial grade Matcha from Uji, Japan.  This is a high quality, ceremonial grade matcha with a rich green flavor and a smooth finish.  The manufacturer suggests using this specific grade for making for koi cha (thick tea), but it is also a great option for usu cha (thin tea).  This powdered green tea, when whisked, creates a lovely frothy brew with grassy, spinach flavor, a hint of earthy seaweed, and a perfectly balanced sweet and bitter finish.
